Sarah Amsler, MSc, Senior Reference Data Editor

Sarah Amsler was Senior Reference Data Editor at Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI), University of Zurich, in particular for the translation project of the Art & Architecture Thesaurus® of the Getty Research Institute, and also works as a research assistant at the Cultural Office of Grisons.

Since 2014 she dedicated herself to the online presentation of cultural assets, since 2021 at the Cultural Office of Grisons, where she co-heads the realization of the cultural heritage portal for the canton, and previously as a documentalist in the Vitrocentre Romont, where she was responsible for the vitrosearch database. From 2015 to 2018 she organized the advanced training program for members of the association Bibliosuisse (until 2018 called Bibliothek Information Schweiz). In 2012, she obtained a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of Applied Sciences Grisons in Chur. Previously, upon completing her degree in Information and Documentation at the Haute École de Gestion in Geneva, she worked as a librarian in the acquisitions department and as a user services coordinator at the Swiss Institute for Comparative Law in Lausanne between 2007 and 2013. Her focus of interest lies in the upgrading of cultural assets using digitization strategies.
