Joel Spiegelberg, MA, Data Curator

Joel Spiegelberg was Data Curator, Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI) at the University of Zurich.

He obtained his M.A. in art history and modern history at the University of Zurich in 2020 with a dissertation on the medium of virtual reality in the field of fine arts. In addition to obtaining his B.A. in the same field at the University of Zurich, he worked as a tutor and student assistant in the field of modern and contemporary art at the Institute of Art History (2017-18). Besides, he worked at the Kunsthaus Zurich (-2018), in the Archives of Contemporary History at the ETH Zurich (2017), and the Collection Centre of the Swiss National Museum (2015). Further research interests lie in digital art history, postcolonial theories and the curation of independent art exhibitions.
