For the expansion of our fast growing team we are seeking to recruit one or more

Front End Developer(s) (60-100%) (PDF, 201 KB)

to commence immediately or by agreement. The incumbent will be instrumental in the design and development of SARI’s research environments for research and collection data in the Cultural Heritage domain. 

In this capacity, the position involves the design and implementation of research environments, information platforms, and editorial tools. The primary focus is on the development of front-ends based on ResearchSpace, an open-source platform for the development of linked data applications. Additionally, the position includes active participation and collaboration in national and international consortia and projects to foster development within the digital humanities/heritage community. 

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience in front-end development, ideally complemented by a multidisciplinary background spanning information science (computer science, knowledge representation) and/or the humanities (such as art history or architecture). Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and contemporary JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) is imperative, with prior exposure to semantic data and SPARQL considered a definite advantage.
