Bits and Bites. Digital Humanities Lunch

As a result of rapid development of digital research technologies and growing demand for sustainability and reusability of data, researchers today are facing unprecedented technological and methodological challenges. The Bits and Bites. Digital Humanities Lunch at the Fourth Swiss Congress of Art History (VKKS) provides the stage to present ongoing digital research projects, to exchange methodological and technological expertise, and to connect with the growing community of digital researchers.

Interested institutions and/or individuals are invited to pitch their most recent projects (max. 10 mins). The focus of the presentations is on new methodological and technological approaches with the potential to advance digital researchin the humanities. The goal is to launch the discussion and to connect over lunch with peers and experts in the field, but also with potential users.

The ‘brown-bag’ format of the event allows for short pitch presentations and an open (moderated) discussion with the audience. The event takes place as part of the Fourth Swiss Congress of Art History, organised by VKKS.
