The Technology Platform of Swiss Art Research Infrastructure (SARI TPF) is the TPF of the Swiss Art Research Infrastructure Center (SARI Center). Its purpose, as a national, digital and network-based research infrastructure, is to provide scientific and technological services for the humanities and, in particular, art history.
Recent digitization of institutional collections in the humanities has led to the need for processes with which large amounts of digital images and metadata can be structured, understood, made accessible and researched. SARI TPF reacts to this development by offering know-how and processes in three categories:
